"We will be setting up a golf tournament (possibly a poker tournament) and already have a number of out of town guest booking rooms. In order to get the best possible incentives from the good folks at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, we're looking for a potential headcount by next week. Merry Christmas!
Here in Northern Afghanistan, we had a beautiful sunny day - temps in the high 50s.  But we expect the snow to hit us any day now. 
We do not have indoor plumping in our containers we live in (some still in tents).  So when the snow falls, we will be walking fast to the shower containers.

12/14/09 - From the, "Ain't it pretty great how things work out" file - we're pleased to announce the engagement of Joe Carinder and Becky (Young) Irving! Joe proposed during the surprise party he had set-up for Becky's birthday (I ain't saying which birthday) last Friday.
